"Social Justice": Communitarian Ministries Providing Supplies for Government Schools

by Bob Johnson on 11/08/11

Oasis Church is a communitarian ministry which once was a member of the Willowcreek Association.  One can see below that Oasis Church wants to "Go Global" by sending their "Social Justice Team" to Mexico in order to provide school supplies to the Mexican children.  (Presumably, these children are attending government schools which are extremely hostile to not only the gospel of Jesus Christ, but the USA as well).

Another "ministry" at Oasis Church called "Godchicks," is collecting donations of school supplies for government schools in Los Angeles.  One school for which they are asking donations is the John Burroughs Middle School.  Oddly enough, this school is located in the Hancock Park area of Los Angeles, a very affluent neighborhood.  The school happens to be located just a couple blocks from the home of Melanie Griffith (where President Obama recently held a fundraiser).

Why are churches providing school supplies to children attending anti-Christian, anti-American, government schools?

This is all part of the fulfillment of the communitarian system and Peter Drucker's "3-legged stool."  To find out why churches are now partnering with government entities read "What is the Church Growth Movement."

More Proof John Macarthur is in Partnership with the Satanic New World Order

by Bob Johnson on 11/02/11

Check out John Macarthur's alliance with the American Enterprise Institute at the link below.  The AEI is a NWO think tank with members from the Bilderbergers, Federal Reserve, CFR, Trilateral Commission, RAND corp, and many more orgs dedicated to bringing about a NWO to be ruled by Satan.

Is Crosstalk a Christian Patriotic Talkshow?

by Bob Johnson on 10/16/11

I notice that Ingrid Schlueter is no longer co-hosting Crosstalk, a nationally syndicated talkshow, on VCY America.  Displaying an America flag and a cross on their webpage, one would have good reason to believe that Crosstalk is a Christian patriotic show.  Let's now take a look at the "Crosstalk Resource and Informational Links" seen below and listed under "Family Issues."

Family Issues
Defending Family, Faith, and Freedom

Fathers Taking Action on Family Values
Mothers Taking Action on Family Values
Promoting Traditional Family Values
Issues Commentaries by Dr. Albert Mohler
-------------------------------------------------------
Crosstalk provides the links to the following organizations on their webpage listed under "Family Issues":
Eagle Forum--NGO of the UN
Concerned Women for America--NGO of the UN
Family Research Council--NGO of the UN
American Family Association--NGO of the UN
One Million Dads--A Project of the American Family Association
One Million Moms--A Project of the American Family Association
AlbertMohler.com--Mohler holds leadership positions in two NGO's of the United Nations: The Ethics and Religious Liberty Commission of the SBC (he was a founding fellow of their Research Institute) and Focus on the Family (He is their Vice Chairman--last I saw)
Isn't it odd that Crosstalk, which puts itself forth as a Christian patriotic show, is recommending NGO's of the United Nations and men who lead NGO's of the UN to Christian patriotic listeners seeking resources and information regarding family issues?
Note: All NGO's of the UN are dedicated to the UN's agenda.  They must all satisfy strict criteria in order to obtain this UN status.

Would a Christian Sign The Manhattan Declaration?

by Bob Johnson on 10/16/11

The Manhattan Declaration is an ecumenical-dominionist manifesto written by a member of the Council on Foreign Relations who serves UNESCO.  I contend that anyone who signs this "declaration" is really declaring that they aren't Christians.  The following are just a very few of the signers of this manifesto (omitting those who are Roman Catholics):

Dr. Al Mohler-- Founding Fellow of the Research Institute of the Ethics and Religious Liberty Commission of the SBC (NGO in special consultative status with the UN) and Vice-Chairman of Focus on the Family (NGO in special consultative status with the UN); keynote speaker at John Macarthur's annual conference

Richard Land--CFR member; President Ethics and Religious Liberty Commission of SBC (NGO in special consultative status with the UN); signed Evangelicals and Catholics Together document

Robert P. George--Manhattan Declaration drafting committee; CFR member; serves on UNESCO's World Commission on the Ethics of Scientific Knowledge and Technology

Timothy George--Manhattan Declaration Drafting Committee; Founding Fellow of the Research Institute of the Ethics and Religious Liberty Commission of the SBC (UN-NGO); active in Roman Catholic Church dialogue; dean of Beeson Divinity School

Chuck Colson--Manhattan Declaration drafting committee; Prison Fellowship International (UN-NGO); co-author of Evangelicals and Catholics Together Document; 1993 Recipient of Templeton Prize for Progress in Religion

James Dobson--Focus on the Family (NGO in special consultative status with the UN)

Tony Perkins--Family Research Council (UN-NGO)

Donald Wildmon-American Family Association (UN-NGO)

J. Ligon Duncan--President, Alliance of Confessing Evangelicals; Chairman, Council for Biblical Manhood and Womanhood--pseudo-Christian orgs (John Macarthur is a council member of ACE and is on the Board of Reference of the CBMW.  Notice on the top of the ACE website is a sunburst.  John Macarthur's Grace To You also employs the sunburst for its logo. Click here to read more.)

James MacDonald--Senior Pastor, Harvest Bible Chapel, Rolling Meadows, IL; runs a denomination of 70 churches of "Life Groups" aka facilitator-led groups (supported by John Macarthur and his seminary--click here to read more)

Richard Mouw--Pres. Fuller Seminary (John Macarthur's father was the director of the organization which founded Fuller Seminary.  Click here to read more.)

Joni Eareckson Tada--Joni and Friends (John Macarthur's church partners with Joni and Friends.  Joni was/is a member of Macarthur's church.)

J I Packer--Senior Editor of Christianity Today, and a signer of the Evangelical and Catholics Together Documents I and co-author of ECT II (John Macarthur has had Packer write the forward to his books)

Ravi Zacharias

Chuck Swindoll--Dallas Theo. Seminary

Erwin Lutzer--The Moody Church

Wayne Grudem--Council member of the CBMW

Josh McDowell

Michael Youssef

Roy Masters--The Foundation of Human Understanding

The "New Paradigm" church

by Bob Johnson on 10/16/11

I've visited hundreds of church websites and I would say that 90% of them are very similar--many of them having the following in common: a "mission", "vision", or "purpose" statement; an emphasis on "radical change" and "transformation"; "leadership training" or "leadership development"; "community building" and the need to "impact community"; the need for "authentic," "transparent", "intentional", or "dynamic" ministry; the need to "facilitate" everything; the "casting" and "catching" of "visions"; the need for "relational vitality"; the need that everything be "healthy"; the need to "make disciples" who will "reproduce"; the need for church "unity" and "consensus building" among many other strange things.

I've noticed they have also divided their congregations into small groups for "relationship building" and "bonding" having names like "flocks", "life groups", "core groups", "discussion groups", etc. because "radical change" and "life transformation" and "life-long learning" "happens best in small groups."

Now most Christians familiar with God's Word know that none of this stuff is biblical.  And I wonder with amazement how church leaders across the world have been able to bring these aberrant things into their churches with little or no opposition from their supposedly Christian congregations.

To find out what's really going on here with all these strange "new paradigm" changes then carefully read "What is the Church Growth Movement."

John Macarthur Denies Saving Power in the Blood of Christ

by Bob Johnson on 10/16/11

The following are a few quotes made by John Macarthur regarding the blood of the Lord Jesus Christ:
"You have to stop short of saying 'We are saved by the blood of Jesus,' in the sense that there is some efficacy in the fluid that poured out of His body."
"We don't want to get caught into this bizarre notion that somehow in the actual fluid that came out of the body of Jesus there is saving power or saving efficacy."
"There is nothing in the fluid in His body that in any way in itself could save us."
"When the New Testament refers to salvation by His blood, it is not talking about salvation by His fluid; it uses blood as a metaphor or a synonym for death because it conveys the violence of it."
Is John Macarthur correct in his assessment of the blood of Christ?

Hermeneutics

by Bob Johnson on 10/06/11

I notice that Christians are often referring to something called "hermeneutics."  I decided to look up its meaning on Wikipedia.  The following is an excerpt I found to be of interest:

"The folk etymology places the origin (Greek: hermeneutike) with Hermes, the mythological Greek deity whose role is that of messenger of the Gods.[3] Besides being mediator between the gods themselves, and between the gods and humanity, he leads souls to the underworld upon death. He is also considered the inventor of language and speech, an interpreter, a liar, a thief and a trickster.[3] These multiple roles make Hermes an ideal representative figure for hermeneutics."

Straining Gnats and Swallowing Camels

by Bob Johnson on 10/06/11

Calvinist bloggers tend to be a most intellectual sort.  They blog back and forth about theological matters that I can't begin to comprehend.

Then I notice that most all of them link to Al Mohler and I conclude that they strain at gnats and swallow camels.  They will zealously argue about the smallest theological matter, but they have no problem linking to a man who leads two NGO's of the United Nations, who has signed the Manhattan Declaration, and whose boss is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations.

Churches Serving Foreign Governments

by Bob Johnson on 10/03/11

John Macarthur's ministry in Honduras is called MEDA (which is an acronym).  MEDA claims to be a Christian training center.  According to John Macarthur's church's website, the Vice President of Honduras, being surrounded by military men and secret police, has on at least two occasions visited MEDA.  On another occasion a colonel from a local military base paid a visit to MEDA.

When the Vice President of Honduras visited MEDA, he thanked MEDA "for its willingness to serve."  This particular article also notes that neither the President nor the Vice President of Honduras are Christians.

The President of Honduras at the time of this visit was Manuel Zelaya.  The following from his Wikipedia bio shows his close alliance with communist leaders:

"During Zelaya's time in office Honduras became a member of ALBA, an international cooperation organization based on the idea of social, political, and economic integration between the countries of Latin America and the Caribbean. Political opponents, particularly business elites, opposed his foreign policy, including his alliance with Hugo Chavez in Venezuela, and friendship with Cuba's Raul Castro."

The article on John Macarthur's church's website also states that President Zelaya interceded with the Cuban government in order to obtain permission for Cubans to attend a conference at MEDA in order to be trained to lead "cell churches" upon their return to Cuba. (Note: A cell church isn't a Christian entity.)

Why did the left-wing Vice President of Honduras visit John Macarthur's training center?  Why did Honduran military leaders visit this training center?  Why did the Honduran President seek permission for Cubans to attend this training center?  What service is John Macarthur's training center performing in Honduras that has earned the thanks of its government?

The Honduran government thanked John Macarthur's training center "for its service" because they are serving the goals of the Honduran government/military.  And these goals are the UN's goals (to establish a one-world government).

Note that in the Wikipedia excerpt on President Zelaya it states that Honduras is a member of an organization whose goals are the "social, political, and economic integration between the countries of Latin America and the Caribbean."

How odd that the left-wing Vice President of Honduras would arrive at John Macarthur's training center surrounded by his military and secret police and use this training center as his base during his stay and then "thank this 'ministry' for its service."  Wouldn't one expect the script to play out like this: that once the VP of Honduras arrived at this "Christian training center," his military and secret police would proceed to arrest the center's leaders before burning it to the ground?

The State Church

by Bob Johnson on 10/03/11

Many churches in the US are connected with a state government or the federal government or both.  John Macarthur's Grace Community Church is a California religious corporation as well as a 501(c)(3) entity connecting it to the federal government.  Macarthur also has ministries that partner with foreign governments, NGO's of the UN, globalist orgs, and members of the WCC.

Can it be pleasing to the Lord that churches incorporate and become 501(c)(3)'s forming partnerships with the government?  Can the Lord be pleased when His bride commits adultery with the world?

Christian Pastors and their Armed Guards.

by Bob Johnson on 09/22/11

Should Christian pastors be guarded by armed men?  It's my understanding that John Macarthur has numerous armed men guarding him in his church.  A local Christian pastor has stated on his radio program that he has seen armed guards protecting John Macarthur at the airport as well.

Would John Macarthur take along his armed guards should he ever go on a missionary trip?  Was the Apostle Paul guarded by armed men?  A pastor who needs armed guards is a pastor who doesn't believe that God can protect him.  It's a clear sign of weakness and lack of faith.

Who is John Macarthur seeking protection from?  Moslims?  Jews?  Angry feminists?  Christians who have become aware of his agenda?

Macarthur is an important man who influences millions of Christians through his radio and TV broadcasts.  One day perhaps millions will be seeking his lead and counsel when martial law is declared in the US.  It's important that he be protected.

Conflict of Interest at Grace To You?

by Bob Johnson on 09/20/11

Is it a conflict of interest that Grace To You with John Macarthur as its President has paid $1,408,000 to a firm solely owned by John Macarthur's son-in-law over a 2 year span?  Does this violate God's command to avoid even the appearance of evil?  To read more about this click here.
